Lord, today we will know you as we break the bread.   This we know is your body, and by it we are fed.   We break the bread before us; our souls will be restored.   And, with this communion, we thank you, O Lord.

Lord, today we will know you as we drink the wine.   This, the blood of forgiveness, this, your grand design.   We drink the wine before us; our souls will be restored.   And, with this communion, we thank you, O Lord.

With bread and wine before us, our souls will be restored.   And, with this communion, we thank you, O Lord.   Amen.
